We are given a turnaround time of between 7 and 10 working days from the templates being approved, which was last thursday – So we were happily surprised to find out on Monday from F Jones that our completed Caesarstone Organic White worktop would be delivered and installed on Wednesday (today)!
So the glory doesn’t always go the the decorator, the worktop folk get a good chance too! Although the CNC machine does the cutting from the templates and the edge profile. The worktops themselves took just about two hours to be brought in, placed in situ and then had adhesive put on the underside. The belfast sink was sealed and that was it – all done!
The Caesarstone is exactly as the sample and the pencil round profile feels wonderfully tactile as well as providing extra robustness against potential damage when hauling out a cast iron casserole from the dishwasher and whacking it against the stone.
We are told not to lean against the worktop for 24 hours, whist the adhesive does it’s thing – after than we are good to move onto the next phases which is the extractor going back up tomorrow and then the electrical second fix on Friday!
