creating a kitchen to suit every member of the family
Are you thinking about a bespoke kitchen, but not sure where to start? Designing your dream kitchen is an exciting project, and an important investment. We’ll make sure it’s a smooth, stress-free and transparent process, and that together we create a kitchen you and your family will love for many years to come.
You may have design ideas and colour schemes already in mind, or would like inspiration from our experienced team. Each kitchen design is unique, but whatever the project, we follow a tried-and-trusted process to make sure you’re happy at every stage of the design and build.
So how does it work? Firstly…
Visit our Kelso showroom for some inspiration and an initial chat about your kitchen or interior project. You'll find a range of hand crafted display kitchens along with a fully working aga taking centre stage. We can talk you through all the important decisions that go into creating your bespoke kitchen from furniture styling, appliance selection, fixtures and fittings and interior finishes.
You don't need to make any decisions at this stage – it's just a chance for you to talk through some options with our designer, and for us to get a sense of what you like.
Arrange a home visit from Jerry and Shona. They will carry out a detailed survey and discuss how you and your family plan to use the new space.
This will help us get a clear idea of issues such as height, eye levels, mobility and access, as well as any particular features you'd like to include.
Relax and let Jerry and Shona do the work. Shona will create a design to suit you, while Jerry will develop the CAD visual so that you can see it in three dimensions.
Once you're happy with the layout, it's time to discuss colours and finishes.
At this stage, it's easy to incorporate changes to suit your requirements, keeping you fully informed about cost implications at every stage.
Then it's time for…
When you decide to go ahead, you pay a deposit, and we specify and order materials and agree a date.
Your bespoke kitchen furniture is prebuilt at our workshops by our specialist craftsmen, ready for…
On the day, our team will come and remove existing fittings as required, and install your new kitchen. Our project manager will coordinate with the tradesmen on site, and make regular visits to check on progress ensuring your project is in safe hands.
You'll receive your documents and warranties, and we'll show you how to look after your kitchen and get the best out of it.
Enjoy getting to know your new kitchen! We'd love to hear how you're getting on with it. If there's anything more we can do, just ask!
